| About OSSMC - History |
Our Services Today
Today, Ombudsman Services of San Mateo County is a highly respected and thriving organization of professional managers and dedicated volunteers who have done so much to guarantee a voice for our elder friends and family, who otherwise would have no-one to speak for them.
Every year Ombudsman Services of San Mateo County investigates thousands of complaints ranging from minor infractions to egregious abuse. The majority of the investigations are resolved to the resident’s satisfaction - and frequently result in procedural changes that benefit all residents in a facility.
